Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy - Lighting - Knowhere Under Siege

Gameplay lighting of Knowhere under siege.
In-game capture on ps5 with photo mode.

In the first part of the map, the idea was to see some bright light coming from the bottom but without really knowing where it came from. Then when you reach the second part, you understand that the light comes from the cortex that has been corrupted with the faith energy.
So, I used the faith energy color to light from the bottom, the fire color at the "ground" level to sort of highlight the players path, and the neon/screens from the market/rooftops to had some cold ambience into the mix.

The Spaceport
Here the lamp post works well with the battery colors, creating a nice mood for battle !

Cosmo Tower vista
You can see that energy/fire light coming from the bottom and the cosmo tower is off.

The Market.
In this section I used the fire pit and the battery to highlight the player path and contrast with the cold light coming from the top

Same here, the warm light form the fire is showing the path, where the cold light from the neon give a nice boost to the background wall

Small Combat Section.
Here I increased the intensity of the neon to hit more on the ground and use it as the main light source. The fire is there to give a small warm touch to the area.

Tree Combat Area.
Because it is a combat area, we needed to properly see. So on top of the light from the tree, I added some cold light from the right to have more lights on the broken bridge.

The rooftops.
Same technique here, cold light coming from the top, highlighting the path, and the warm lights from the fire in the back and bottom from the cortex.
